Dawn is an absolute genius - I have never been so enthralled by a tale, nor laughed as much."

The Alchemy of Storytelling

'Stories are the single most powerful weapon in a leader's arsenal' (Howard Gardner) - and they are often used as such. We know that storytelling reaches beneath the surface of our conscious mind and engages our hormones, emotions and values, as well as our minds. Human react instinctively to skilled storytelling. This makes it a powerful force for manipulation as well as liberation, connection and broadened perspectives.

We live in a world of fake news, deep fake, spin - people have lost sight of what is real. Great storytelling reveals deeper truths by balancing truth and imagination. Truth and Story need to go hand-in-hand if we are to use storytelling to benefit a wider context than our own immediate needs.

In this 45-60 minute keynote I explore how to align our authentic storytelling with expansive purpose and passion - this is where the true alchemy lies.
